With Thanksgiving just around the corner, many people are working on their holiday plans. It’s important—and fun—to get together with your loved ones over a home-cooked meal, but it’s also important to remember the reason behind the holiday: gratitude. What about Fluffy? Here, a Lakeville, MN vet lists some things your kitty might actually be thankful for.
Comfy Napping Spots
Cats take their beauty rest very, very seriously. Fluffy is always on the lookout for comfy spots to snooze in. She definitely appreciates your bed, sofa, and chairs, as well as any pet beds you’ve offered her.
Kitties may look cute and innocent, but they are actually fierce predators by nature. Your furball is definitely thankful for all the catnip mice she’s batted under the couch!
One thing we love about kitties is the fact that they are the purrfect size to fit into our laps. Your feline buddy may be the picture of contentment when she’s curled up on you for a snooze!
Fluffy’s love for boxes may still have us scratching our heads, but we do know it’s adorable.
We probably don’t have to explain this one too much. No one likes a dirty bathroom!
We know, Fluffy can be a bit finicky. However, your furball is quite thankful for the good food you offer her. Some cats even purr as they eat!
Fluffy may not be thrilled about her appointments, but she will definitely look and feel better with proper care. Healthy cats are happy cats! (Of course, some of our patients show us their gratitude by, well, scratching us, but that’s another topic.)
Fluffy isn’t shy about getting comfortable on our things, but she really does appreciate having some things made just to suit her, like cat towers and kitty condos.
Cats have worked very hard to make us think they’re aloof and uncaring, but we’re not buying it. Ask anyone who has ever looked at a happy cat. You can see the love and contentment in Fluffy’s furry face! Bottom line? Kitties are always happiest when they feel loved and safe. Your feline pal is definitely grateful for the love and good care you give her!
