Dr. Landskov has always been passionate about animals from a young age. She has fond memories of watching The Crocodile Hunter on television daily and interacting with the wildlife surrounding her. Her interests always revolved around visiting the zoo, watching animal planet, and finding animals in nature whenever she had the chance. Riding horses was another passion of hers as she grew up, and they still hold a special place in Dr. Landskov’s heart.
A Minnesota native, Dr. Landskov stayed in state to earn her undergraduate degree with a major in Biological Sciences and minoring in Neuroscience at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter. She then moved to Illinois for veterinary school at the U of I in Champaign-Urbana. After graduating, Dr. Landskov worked as an emergency doctor in the Chicago suburbs before moving back to Minnesota.
Surgery, emergency medicine and internal medicine are some of Dr. Landskov’s interests in addition to her passion for helping clients to understand the importance of diagnostic medicine during their pet’s visits. She was also very involved in leadership roles in veterinary school which helped her meet other students and veterinarians from across the globe. Dr. Landskov enjoys meeting new people, and looks forward to having new clients and patients!
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Landskov enjoys staying involved in leadership roles within the profession, traveling with her husband, and spending time in the outdoors. She also loves the sport of rugby, and played for 7 years during high school and college. She lives with her husband, Zachary, and their 5 crazy animals. She has Irwin the friendly and energetic cattle dog, and 4 quirky cats: Mochi, Newton Scamander, JiJi, and Hedwig (Wiggy).
