Dr. Ashley Hall has been a nurturing soul ever since she was a young girl, and she finds herself most at peace when she’s helping someone else. At a very young age, Dr. Hall recognized the importance of the human-animal bond and the lasting impact that this bond can have on individual and community health. Veterinary medicine provided the perfect path—she’s able to satisfy her lifelong passion for animals while working to facilitate this bond and make a difference in the lives of others on a daily basis!
A native of Kennesaw, Georgia, Dr. Hall’s animal-care journey started at the age of 19 when she began volunteering at a small-animal emergency clinic in her college town of Statesboro, Georgia. It only took two minutes of staring through the surgery-suite window for Dr. Hall to know that it was exactly where she wanted to be! She worked her way up to a kennel position before becoming a Veterinary Assistant, then began as a Veterinary Technician after several more years of hands-on experience.
In 2011, Dr. Hall moved to Minnesota for veterinary school. Now, she’s an Associate Veterinarian with the Burnsville Parkway Animal Hospital team and couldn’t be happier to help the pets and animal parents of this area—she brings with her special interests in cardiology work, surgery and emergency medicine, and pathology. Most of all, Dr. Hall loves chatting directly with pet owners to achieve her ultimate goal: making a lasting impact on the lives of others.
Dr. Hall’s interests outside of animal care include photography, traveling, enjoying the great outdoors, and staying active in advocacy efforts to influence public policy. (She worked diligently during her veterinary school years to raise awareness about student debt, and plans on continuing to work with the National and American Veterinary Medical Associations to improve student experiences and advocate for the veterinary community!) Dr. Hall shares her life with her partner, Mike, her wonderful son Devin, and several pets. She has RJ, a Shepherd mix whose life revolves around eating and sleeping; Fred the friendly Boxer; a rescued Lab named Jersey; and a pair of loveable cats who go by Lucifer and Donnie.
